About Me

Hello! Welcome!

My name is Christina Saliga and I am a dedicated performer, teacher and choreographer with a passion for creating and sharing impactful art with the world.

it all started with the banjo…

it all started with the banjo…

Born and raised in Sligo, Kentucky, I fell in love with music and performing after hearing the banjo on the radio at 8 years old. Playing with my family-band throughout the Louisville area, I developed a reputation as the smiley, Banjo-Pickin’ Gal.

Over time, I discovered the endless possibilities within performing and realized that I wanted to continue learning and creating for the rest of my life. Finding a new love in dancing and musical theatre, I began to train with the oldham county performance troupe. Always eager for new experiences, I attended summer programs at the Cincinnati Ballet, Boston Conservatory, and Rockettes’ Summer Intensive which only served to expand my passion for the arts.

Moving to OKC!

In 2018, I moved to Oklahoma City University to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Dance Pedagogy. As a part of the honors program and an active member of the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment community, I have dove headfirst into the lifelong endeavor of learning about all parts of the performing arts. Through OCU, I have been able to hone my skills as a performer, teacher and choreographer by performing in Home for the Holidays, taking specific course-work in Jazz, Tap and Ballet Pedagogy and choreographing for shows including Project21.

I cannot wait to see what the future holds and hope you will follow along my journey!
