Choreography as a Frame
Central to all my choreography is the concept of framing. Dance and expressive movement has the capacity to express the deepest and most vibrant parts of the human experience. With the infinite possibilities of artistic expression and stories to be told, framing is necessary in order for chisel away at the artistic potential and create a viewable/perceivable work. As a choreographer, I use intentional movement to create a frame that allows for focused expression that resonates with and impacts the audience.
